This note regards our preparations in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Inhabitants of six counties of the San Francisco Bay Area were instructed at 1pm on Monday 16 March to remain at home and “Shelter in Place” through Tuesday 7 April.
We are taking appropriate steps to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients. The situation is fluid, and current exceptions permit us to provide essential services from our office and to facilitate the activities of our remote workers. We plan to meet all deadlines.
Given the enhanced risk, we are implementing the following:
- As of Tuesday March 17th, 2020, our staff is working remotely. E&M Mayock has made adjustments to our phone system to facilitate continued Voice to Voice communications via our normal VOIP lines. Please be patient, as there will be challenges to our ability to be as responsive as possible.
- Meetings will be conducted virtually via conference call or web-hosted services.
- Inbound snail mail and courier deliveries will be retrieved remotely, scanned, and distributed as necessary using attachments to email.
- Outbound courier service of key documents will continue to flow from our office at 220 Sansome St in San Francisco, and from remote work sites.
We are prepared to handle your ongoing matters. We will continue to keep you updated on developments. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Attorney or Paralegal via email. Wash your hands!
