Great News for Australian Professionals! Speedy E-3 adjudications now available through premium processing.
Starting Feb. 24, 2021, employers filing to request E-3 Professional status for a new employee or an extension of E-3 status for an existing employee will have the option to request premium processing service for their petition.
The USCIS premium processing service allows petitioners to pay $2500 to expedite the processing of certain forms. USCIS is required to take action on the application within 15 calendar days.
The E-3 classification applies only to citizens of Australia who are coming to the United States solely to perform professional services requiring at least a bachelor’s degree.
To qualify for the E-3 classification, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Are a citizen of Australia;
- Have a legitimate offer of employment in the United States;
- Possess the necessary academic or other qualifying credentials; and
- Will fill a position that qualifies as a specialty occupation.
