Erum Choudhry is a senior immigration attorney with extensive experience working with companies ranging from startups to fortune 500 companies, multi-national corporations and individuals of all educational and cultural backgrounds.
Ms. Choudhry has served as a legal consultant and attorney with boutique business immigration law firms in Silicon Valley, and a well-established business immigration law firm in Northern California, where she practiced all aspects of immigration law. At E&M Mayock, her focus is on the PERM Labor Certification process, immigrant visa petitions and non-immigrant visa petitions.
Ms. Choudhry also volunteers at pro bono legal clinics to help indigent immigrants. Ms. Choudhry helps to educate immigrant women and indigent immigrant women on humanitarian grounds. She is fluent in several languages including English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Sarieki and Sindhi. She has translated immigration laws from English to Urdu and from Urdu to English to help educate immigrants regarding their rights.
In her spare time, Ms. Choudhry is an avid artist, painter and sculptor. Her artwork has been exhibited in the United States, Russia, Japan and Pakistan. She is also a frequent speaker at local community and youth events.
Licensed to practice in California and Pakistan. Ms. Choudhry holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Cornell University School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from S.M. Law College.
Ms. Choudhry is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA), the Queen’s Bench Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association (SABA).
